GETIG 715

This wire deposits plain 9% aluminum bronze for welding similar 5-11% Al alloys. The wire can be used to weld range of copper-based alloys to themselves or to mild steel, cast irons and iron- base alloys. However, alloys containing chromium (stainless steels) should be avoided since chromium pick-up may cause embrittlement and cracking. For such applications special buttering procedures should be used. The wire can be used to overlay CMn steels and cast irons to give wear and corrosion resistant bearing surfaces.

GETIG 7200 (SPL)

Silver containing Copper alloy for welding deoxidized copper. The molten pool is clean. The deposit is tough and free from porosity. Because of about 1% silver, the molten metal has better flurdity and wetting properties.

GETIG 1188

Pure Aluminium tig wire recommended for the tig welding of selected 1XXX series of wrought Aluminum alloys. The deposited weld metal has excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal and electrical conductivity.

GETIG 1100

Pure Aluminum TIG wire recommended for the TIG welding of selected 1XXX series of wrought Aluminum alloys. The deposited weld metal has excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal and electrical conductivity.

GETIG 4047

Getig 4047 is a premium quality Aluminium- nominal 12% Silicon alloy suitable for the Tig Welding (GMAW) of a wide range of cast and wrought Aluminium alloys. Getig 4047 is used extensively for the repair welding of many aluminium alloy castings. It’s lower weld deposit strength, and excellent crack resistance make it suitable for the Tig welding of cast (mainly 4XX & 6XX series) and wrought (selected 1XXX, 5XXX & 6XXX series ) aluminium alloys, except where an accurate colour match is required after anodising.

GETIG 9307

Brazing filler metal with high silver content, with good capillary flow characteristics.



GETIG 9306

Silver solder with lowest possible melting and very good flow characteristics. Very high capillary flow properties. Joints brazed with Getig 9306 on Cu Zn 20 Al, Cu Ni 10 Fe and Cu Ni 30 Fe have given good service results in seawater (Marine code VG 81245, section 3).


GETIG 9303

Copper- Phosphorous brazing filler metal with about 5 percent silver content, showing good thin-flowing characteristics. Good ductility even at low temperatures. No addition of flux is necessary for brazing copper; copper alloys.
