HARDFACING


GRICON CUT

The electrode has an exothermic coating which ensures a stable and high force arc. Extremely low volume of slag an be brushed off easily. The electrode can be used in all positions.

The electrode is used for piercing and cutting of steel, cast iron, aluminium and copper. Also for removing flashes and runners/risers in foundry castings.

GRICON GOUGE

The electrode has an exothermic coating which ensures a stable but hot and penetrating arc. The electrode can be used in all positions with negligible slag.

The electrode is used for gouging and making grooves in steel, cast iron, aluminium and copper. Very useful for removing defective previous weld runs of chipping or for removing rivet heads of old or defective riveting. Also used for removing flashes and risers on foundry castings.



HIGH TENSILE LOW ALLOY STEEL

GRIDUCT 2G ; E7018G

Basic coated, hydrogen controlled electrode for welding high strength and creep resistance steels. The deposited weld metal is high temperature resistance up to 5000C and creep resistance up to 550°C.The welds are crack resistance and have ultra low level of Hydrogen. The welds are of x-ray quality.

GRIDUCT - 5 E 7018G

A heavy coated basic type, hydrogen - controlled, iron powder electrode with high deposition efficiency. The electrode deposits weld metal having about 0.60% nickel and is of radiographic quality and meets impact requirements at minus 50° C. The weld deposit is tough, ductile and is highly resistant to hot or cold cracking even when subjected to high stresses, dynamic loading etc.

General purpose MIG Welding Rod for welding of plates, pipes and tubes.



GRICON WHITE, E 6010

A medium coated, all position, cellulosic electrode with a forceful penetrating arc for pipe welding suitable for cross-country pipe lines for root, filler and capping passes using down –hand welding technique, weld metal is highly ductile and of X-ray quality.







CAST IRON

GRICAST N

An extruded & graphite type coated electrode depositing pure Nickel weld metal for cold welding of cast Iron. Weldable in all positions. Arc striking and re-striking properties are excellent. Arc is soft & stable. The weld metal including the heat effected zone is easily machinable.



GRICAST NF

An extruded, Nickel Iron electrode for cold welding of cast iron. Weldable in all positions . It has a soft and stable arc, having good striking and restriking properties. The weld metal including the heat effected zone is easily machinable. The crack resistance and toughness properties of weld metal are better than that of GRICAST-N or GRICAST-CN and also the weld deposit matches the colour of the parent metal better than GRICAST-N or GRICAST-CN.

Wieldable in all positions except vertical down. Welding technique including arc striking/restricting calls for practical experience for best result. The bead appearance is fine with uniform ripples and the slag is compact, thick and easily detachable.



GRICON GREEN NC

A basic coated, hydrogen controlled electrode deposits tough and crack free weld metal in butt and fillet joints. The weld metal has a very low diffusible hydrogen content and is resistant to ageing. The electrode has an extremely stable arc which enables it to be manipulated in the most difficult positions without any risk of arc extinction due to freezing. The deposited welds meet X-ray quality requirements.

GETIG 70S2(SPL)

Copper coated filler wire has Al,Ti,and Zr as strong deoxidants with Mn and Si content. This has advantages of semi–killed steels or rusty and contaminated joint area. Smooth flow gives shiny bead under optimum welding conditions. The deposited weld meets x-ray /radiographic quality code requirement.

For welding of structural, pressure vessels and boilers involving unalloyed and micro alloyed structural steel with specified tensile strength upto 520N/mm to meet sub zero Impact requirements down to - 45°C. ASTM A 36, A106 A/B/C, A139 etc

GETIG 70S2

Copper coated filler wire has Al, Ti and Zr as strong deoxidants with Mn and Si content. The wire has very low impurities such as S, P etc and is suitable for applications involving subzero temperatures up to -300C.This has advantages of semi –killed steels or rusty and contaminated joint area. Smooth flow and gives shiny bead under optimum welding conditions. The deposited weld meet x-ray/radiographic quality code requirement.

For welding of structural, pressure vessels and boilers involving unalloyed and micro alloyed structural steel with specified tensile strength upto 550N/mm to meet sub zero Impact requirements down to –30°C. ASTM A 36, A106 A/B/C, A139 etc A516 Grade 70 etc.



Copper Copper Alloys GTAW

GETIG 716

The wire deposits nickel-aluminum bronze and is suitable for welding wrought and cast parent material of similar composition The deposited weld metal has high strength and it is resistance to stress corrosion & equitation erosion, corrosion and attract by acid and chlorides etc

GETIG 717

The weld metal is resistance against corrosion, seawater and wear. Especially suitable for work pieces subjected to simultaneous attack by seawater, cavitation and erosion.

Welded joints and surfacing welds on multi-alloy aluminum bronzes, e.g. Wnr.2.0916, 2.0920, 2.0928, 2.0932, 2.0936, 2.0940, 2.960, 2.0962, 2.0966, 2.0970, 2.0978 and 2.0980, surfacing weld on steels and copper alloys. Welded joints between steel and aluminum bronzes (including multi-alloy).Used in shipbuilding, in the construction of machines, apparatus and pumps, e.g. ship propellers, pump housing, valve gear housing and food containers.




Low-Alloy-GTAW

GETIG 80S Ni3

TIG filler wire containing about 3.5 percent Nickel is recommended for root run as well as for joint filling. The weld metal gives high impact values at subzero temperature up to minus 800C. Deposited weld metal is of x-ray quality.

GETIG 80SB2

Copper coated solid wires alloyed 1.25% Cr/0.5% Mo intended for welding creep resisting steels of similar composition used in power generating plant operating at temperature up to 570°C.Deposited weld metal meets X-ray quality.
